Since finishing the books and coming back, 3 months ago. Here is what happened. Not good. Iโll be honest with you. I started everything with a bang. Post with photo at the cafe, announcing the finalization of the books. Marc talked about them, they went viral, and I instantly got distracted and almost spent another month doing the audiobooks. Spent a week but stopped. So stupid. Week 1: Posted about trying out codex, my laptop, etc Did ok. Next week, posted a video, on my sofa, announcing my comeback. Did ok. Lesson: Human posts do really well. Week 2: My 2nd video was me talking on the sofa again. But it was a novel idea and had a funny intro and hook. Shot with my camcorder in retro style. Video was so good it went viral with 100k views and created a trend. Maybe I still got it. Lesson: Videos and a tiny bit different does really well. Itโs about creativity and originality. Not to a crazy degree, but just a little. The minimum effective dose of originality. Week 3: My sister visited for one week, and then I went to Greece for another week. I went from being on a roll, to completely derailed. My realization is that I need a form of video I can always do, even when I'm not feeling like performing and I'm traveling. I think I want a podcast. With other people as well, we have a fixed day, every week, etc. Lesson: These YouTube videos are not easy with the lifestyle I want, I want a podcast. I am not a natural YouTuber. Next weeks: For the next weeks, things were going well. My twitter was good. Launching shit. Recapping launches. Found the best hook. "Building a $1M business for the second time." It's basic storytelling. It's more exciting and interesting than simply just launching. LAUNCHES: Ok, now let's recap my launches. 1st launch: Agency Siblings Community style idea, very hard to pull off. Even though I had traffic and some traction, it quickly died off. I also think I went too expensive with the premium tier at $1,500/month. I was working backwards to getting back to $500k/year. But scaling when you are at $0 is getting to $1. Not $500k. Basics. I've even written about this. But I'm relearning the same lessons again. Also, communities are not easy. That's another thing identical to my first rodeo. I started with community style ideas. Ironic. 2nd launch: Podcast Like I said, I want a video format I can do easily. Did it with my friend Dmytro. We got something like 1,000 views. Donโt care about it though, I like it and enjoy it and if I can do it in the format I am envisioning and I'm consistent, I'm sure it will do amazingly well. 3rd launch: AI Employees I had very high hopes for this idea. Spent months building it. But got zero customers. Again, it reminds me of my first rodeo, book one. Lesson: stop wasting time, launch just landing pages and figure things out if you get paid. 4th launch: Jev shit Jev was a trend that took over the internet for a couple of days. For a change, I decided to jump on it and build a little product that (in my mind) could go viral. Bullshit. Nothing. This feels like those stupid products I built before writing 2 years of building products. But at least it keeps up the momentum. 5th launch: Business Wiki Page Made my first dollar!!!! Actually $80!!! Fuck, this whole trajectory is so similar to book one, without me trying at all. Actually, I was hoping that I would be "different" tihs time. But it's kinda like GitGardener. Which was also pretty stupid, which also made my first dollar, and was also my 5th launch! It's funny. These $75 dollars from a new project means so much more than $150/month from a zombie subscription on CyberLeads. And once again, it's ironic. I spent months building AI employees. Went nowhere. Spent 24 hours building businesswikipage. Made money. Again, relearning the same lessons. Donโt overthink it. 6th launch: Growth Projections I had extremely low expectations. But I just wanted to keep up the momentum and clear it from my TODO list. A tool where you connect your Stripe and get your projected MRR plateau. It was a small stupid app. And it's a 2016 style SaaS. Not 2026. I also tried being a little polemical saying "stop measuring useless metrics like churn". Got some snarky comments. Reminded me what being polemical is not my style. And it's not me. I got criticized (not in a bad way, but a constructive way) by 2 very successful people I somewhat look up to. A little brutal, but like cold water thrown to my face. I can't just launch shit and expect to find "the one". 7th launch: CyberLeads 2.0 I decided to go back to my first love. CyberLeads. And launch the new AI version of it. There are companies making millions automating outbound with AI agents. I can do the same but focus on agencies and shine and be in a blue ocean. I prepared everything and launched... Weird. Nothing. Crickets. Scary. But also happy. I don't want to work on CyberLeads anymore. 8th launch -> ???? We'll see tomorrow. But my overarching lessons are. - move fast - don't overthink it - but also don't throw completely random shit at the wall - find that balance - and put in more effort with your launches That's it, tomorrow I'm launching product number 8. Wish me luck.
